Optical properties of excitonic complexes in self-assembled strain-free quantum dots

In this seminar I will show the results of photoluminescence spectroscopy on self-assembled GaAs/AlGaAs quantum dots (QDs) grown by droplet epitaxy. The main topics I will touch regard the excitonic recombination in single QDs and are: i) magneto optical measurements for the investigation of the fine structure of excitons, the Landè g factor and the diamagnetic shift g2 [1,2] ii) experimental and theoretical study of the binding energy of different excitonic complexe[3].
